Amy Winehouse is a very successful female artist but not a very good role model to the community. She is a talented musician, but needs to be reminded that using street drugs or alcohol abuse can damage health and can kill. Drinking above the recommended safe limit is hazardous. It increases risks of developing diseases such as cirrhosis (liver damage), damage to the pancreas, certain cancers, heart problems, sexual problems, and other conditions. FACT ****: Most people are unaware of safe drinking limits.1 in 3 men, and 1 in 7 women, drink more than the safe limit. Men should drink no more than 21 units of alcohol per week, and no more than four units per day. Women should drink no more than 14 units of alcohol per week, and no more than three units per day. (Pregnant women should not drink at all.) There are many organisations that can provide help and advice on any aspect of drug and alcohol use. Your health is important Amy, please “go to Rehab” before its too late.

Especially if you've ever been to rehab. The counselours have no idea what it's like to be an addict. I think she is in active addiction and the first sign of addiction is DENIAL. I've been there. and she's not ready to submit to all the counselours wh tink the can help her cuzthey went to school to learn about addiction. She can teach them a thing or two about addiction. Most counselours are hypocrites. They drink, take sleeping pills etc. You keep on woman. When the student is ready the teacher will appear. Canadian who loves Amy Winehouse!

It's nice to see a real band jamming out behind a girl with a unique soulful voice. I'm so sick of all the pop music and musicians that have to sound/look/act the same. Maybe her addiction is something you don't want to hear about, but there are many people out there who can relate to her problems and find it easier to cope. I think the music is great regardless of how offending or nonsensical the lyrics may be to others.

I have patients that are singing it in the inpatient rehab that I run. I understand the fear of looking at ones addiction but it could have been put in different words. Just my thoughts. Makes it sound like rehab is sooooo bad and I believe that rehabs help people work on thier addictions and lead great wonderful lives. Thanks for listening (reading)
